Technology: Mobile/ Android tablets
Role: Visual Design, Illustration, UI
Tools: Unity, Adobe CC, AE
Confidentiality Note: Due to restrictions with federal and sensitive clients, some content and descriptions are intentionally vague to maintain security compliance.
Supported a federal client in transforming traditional classroom materials into more effective learning tools, delivering a variety of digital scenarios, AR, and VR experiences for a classified environment.
This unclassified project sample used AR-enabled posters hung around the classroom to trigger a hidden object/scavenger hunt minigame via mobile devices. This activity tested learners' knowledge of intelligence and threat mitigation tactics from a historical example, the Cuban Missile Crisis.
The images began as static black and white but were designed to transform into a fully colored and animated scene upon successful completion.
Role Expanded: Visual Design, Illustration and UI
Senior visual designer, responsible for the visual track, illustration, and UI. I collaborated closely with the 3D and animation team to execute the concept.
Visual Direction: Established the unique visual style and tone for the AR experience.
Illustration and Asset Production: Created all custom illustration assets and managed the production workflow.
UI and Animation Collaboration: Designed the mobile UI and collaborated with 3D and animators to execute the transition effects.
