To support the Department of Defense in its mission to modernize military depots, shipyards, and warehouses, our team developed a cohesive and visually driven interactive microsite to facilitate critical conversations and assist with informed decision-making and planning sessions.
The main challenge was organizing expansive technical data ranging from intelligent operations to digital supply networks into a format that was both appealing and strategically impactful. The resulting tool allows facilitators and personnel to explore the future of military infrastructure through a flexible, interactive experience
Impact & Recognition
The product debuted at a DoD summit hosted by Deloitte. Every participant had the tool preloaded onto a tablet to use during guided sessions or individual exploration.
The project was very well received by attendees and event coordinators, who requested the tool remain available for future modernization planning sessions.
Role Expanded: Senior Visual Designer and Oversight Lead
I led visual design and content discovery, working with military clients to drive the project from concept to delivery. I was responsible for the creative direction, key graphics, and custom iconography that established a professional tone for high-level discussions.
Information Architecture: Partnered with subject matter experts to organize technical data into a cohesive and user-friendly visual narrative.
Isometric Illustration: Created isometric assets to visualize the link between physical infrastructure and digital networks for a diverse audience.
Visual Strategy: Developed a modern and professional style with visual metaphors that simplified complex subjects without losing essential detail.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborated with writers and web developers to ensure the design functioned seamlessly across desktop and mobile tablet platforms.
