Enabled a major chemical shipping company to transform their safety and operational training. The challenge was conveying complex science and safety protocols which require spatial understanding and muscle memory, in a way that traditional e-learning could not.

The solution was a high-fidelity VR training simulation that allowed users to practice intricate procedures and handle chemical assets in a risk-free environment.

Role Expanded: Senior Visual Designer and Oversight Lead

Senior Visual Designer, providing creative oversight and direction to the junior UI production team, while working closely with experience design and 3D artists. My focus was on design integrity and quality assurance rather than sole asset production.

  • Design Blueprint & Style: Developed the initial scene mockups, visual style guides, and core UI feedback system to establish the functional and aesthetic foundation.

  • Visual Oversight & QA: Provided ongoing creative direction and quality assurance (QA) for all assets, ensuring visual consistency and seamless integration of the UI system within the 3D environment.

  • UI/UX Refinement: Oversaw the user interface (UI) implementation, focusing on how instructional overlays supported user learning goals.
