Game Jam 2015

February 4, 2015

Participated in the 2015 Global Game Jam- Gaylord National Hotel Washington DC.

The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is the world's largest game jam event (game creation) taking place around the world at physical locations. Teams had 72 hours to produce a working concept around the theme, “What do we do next?”

Our team created a narrative style adventure game, with a combination of 2-D and 3D assets. A rough demo is available on the GameJam site.

Partnered with Game Themed Things LLC

November 24, 2014

This is the very first design I created for the Game Themed Things decal shop back in 2013. I found their shop while searching for a high quality vinyl cutter that could make my dragonair stencil into a decal for a birthday gift. The idea took off and a partnership began, I have been creating designs for their shop ever since.

I will continue to post design collections and photos from happy customers in the future.

Completed Great Wave Mural

November 16, 2014

Finished painting the Katsushika Hokusai inspired triptych. I added some gold leaf & liquid gold accents to finish things off. It looks really great in the room.

Bulbasaur Sculpt

November 16, 2014

Using a papercraft template as 3-d reference I started sculpting a clay model of a bulbasaur. If this turns out well I may try to make a mold and cast a few copies to paint and decorate.

Great Wave – wall mural

March 27, 2014

Katsushika Hokusai’s Great Wave – wall mural

I wanted to decorate a large space in my apartment and decided to (attempt to) recreate one of my favorite ukiyo-e prints using three linen canvases and acrylic ink. The triptych is about 7 feet across, and one of the biggest things I have ever painted!
